“天佑数学讲坛”第43讲——黄继才教授

应兰州交通大学数学系张向明副教授邀请，华中师范大学黄继才教授将于2023年10月25-26日与我系相关师生进行学术研讨，并于10月25日下午举行学术报告，欢迎各位老师和研究生同学参加。

报告题目：SIRS Epidemic Models with psychological effects and treatments

报告摘要：In this talk, a SIRS epidemic models with a generalized nonmonotone incidence rate is considered in this talk. It is shown that the basic reproduction number R_0=1 does not act as a threshold value for the disease spread anymore, and there exists a sub-threshold value R_0=R_*(<1) between disease extinction and persistence. As parameters vary, the model undergoes saddle-node bifurcation, backward bifurcation, Bogdanov-Takens bifurcation, Hopf bifurcation and degenerate Hopf bifurcation. The piecewise-smooth treatment, or saturated treatment in constant or changing environment will also be discussed.

专家简介：

黄继才，华中师范大学教授、博士生导师。2005年获中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院数学所博士学位。主要从事常微分方程定性理论、分支理论及其应用研究。在JDE、JDDE、SIAP、SIADS、JMB、SAPM、BMB等期刊发表学术论文五十余篇。

“天佑数学讲坛”由兰州交通大学数理学院发起创办，是数理学院数学系高层次常态化的学术交流平台。讲坛将不定期邀请国内外知名学者围绕数学国际前沿动态展开学术交流与探讨，通过学术报告、小型研讨会等形式为数学系师生提供向国内外知名学者学习的机会，以便能够及时准确地了解数学领域的前沿学术信息，进一步提升数学系师生的学术视野及科研水平。
